Caesar Gala 2015

Hey Dolls!

I'm finally back with an outfit post, this one kind of special from a luxury gala I attended. It will also feature some outfit pictures for the guys, which is a first on my blog. Usually I post my sisters outfit along with mine, but this time I wanted to try something new. If it's something you would enjoy seeing more of, tell me in the comments bellow.

This gala is close to my heart and I post a yearly outfit from it. This year I went for a black dress, with a lot of attitude, if you could say so. The combinations of the elements with the hair style and make-up came out even better than I imagined.

Glittery Manicure

I literally haven't painted my nails in two months. I know! It's a shocker! I let them detox, as a friend nicely put it. It was kind of nice not worrying which colour to paint them next, however I also felt kind of bare at times. After letting my nails have a two month break to regenerate, I went for a black colour and a glittery silver as my accent colour, which both will ruin the "detox", but I love they way it looks. Not everyone likes black nail varnish, however I think it looks gorgeous!

My way

I love matching outfits on Polyvore from time to time, it helps me get some inspiration and also shows how different ideas would actually look in reality. Hope you like it.

GRWM A fresh look

Hi Dolls!

Having a fresh natural make-up is always a good pick me up, especially when you aren't feeling all that great. Since I've been feeling sick it was the perfect time to show you which make-up products are my go to in such cases. Keep in mind that if you're feeling under the weather, you may not want to put make-up on and just lounge around, which is my perfect scenario. However sometimes you have uni or a job, which ruin your perfect lazy plans. I keep it really simple, honestly who wants a full face of make-up when you have fever or are feeling blue?!

If you have a good "skin day" or somewhat good, don't use foundation or BB/CC cream, just go for concealer under the eyes and/or on any blemishes/redness. For my eyes I used "Strange"(white matte colour) all over the lid and "Nooner" (cool taupe colour) in the crease for some dimension and loads of mascara. Go for a pigmented brow gel, it will add some colour and it keeps your brows in place all day. If you want a natural flush use just a bit of blush, no contour or anything crazy. Remember we're keeping it simple and as minimal as possible. I don't know if it's just me or if there is anybody else who thinks this, but neutral glosses always inspire a fresh look.

You could eat a cupcake or muffin or cookie to treat yourself while getting better. Don't forget to drink lots of water and tee with honey or plain and take care of yourselves.

Have a pink-tastic day!
Kisses!
